Growing Start is a Parent Playgroup program for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and their parents/caregivers. This program follows Creative Curriculum and focuses on early learning and school readiness. Children can interact and explore our fun and engaging environment with their parent/caregiver and have many opportunities to interact with other children similar in age. This program develops social skills with peers and adults, builds social connections for parents, and provides children with a safe environment that spurs learning across multiple domains! Throughout the year, our Growing Start groups take field trips in the community where they can learn about various community agencies and explore our neighborhoods. Each class follows a daily routine that includes, but is not limited to: free choice time, music & movement, large group with a read aloud, small group learning, and snack time served family style. Each activity is selected to expand learning and development.
